Review spelling words to prepare for your test at the end of the week. Use Spelling Frame to help learn this week's spellings. Choose one of the activities on Spelling Tiles.

Main Activity
Today, ask your student to reflect on their first draft, to edit and improve it. Use a different coloured pen and edit at least THREE sentences/lines of poetry. They should be looking for:
- Spelling errors
- Punctuation errors (capital letters and full stops)
- Synonyms (words that are similar but more interesting).
Encourage your student to read their draft aloud to help them spot errors.
Once your student is happy with the editing, ask them to redraft it as a final, polished version. Take care with spelling, handwriting and presentation today. Illustrate and decorate their work.
