Have some fun writing an acrostic about a holiday of your choosing together. First brainstorm all the words you can think of relating to the holiday or celebration and write them on a blank sheet of paper or use the blank Mind Map Template in resources.
Then use these to inspire your poem. Remind your student what an adjective is and try to include some adjectives – if needed display the Adjectives PDF for support.
Don’t forget you can upload your acrostic poem to your e-portfolio!
