For the remainder of Year 3 Part 2, use the Making Spellings Memorable resource to focus on this week's spellings.
Main Activity
Access Pinpoint Comprehension Unit 8.
Discuss the text again, and recap on the new words and phrases that were discussed last week.
Ask your student to read each question out loud from the D sheet, and discuss which questions they think may be difficult or easy to answer. Support them as they use the text to locate the information needed.
Compare their answers with those from the answer resource.
Reflect on the task at the end of the lesson. Which parts of comprehension tasks are going well and which are difficult?
