Spelling

Look at the words below and do a pre-test. This means that you are checking how well your student can spell these words before you teach them. You do not need to focus on the words your student spelled correctly the first time.

Rule: Word list -years 3 and 4 -i to ma-

Ask your student to write each word in a sentence to ensure they understand the meaning of each word.

Main Activity

Access Pinpoint Comprehension Unit 6. Your student should attempt to answer the questions on the β€˜S’ sheet and the β€˜D’ sheet as independently as possible, as this is good practice for their reading assignments.
