Spelling
Look at the words below and do a pre-test. This means that you are checking how well your student can spell these words before you teach them. You do not need to focus on the words your student spelled correctly the first time.

Ask your student to say and write these words into sentences throughout the week.
Main Activity
Following on from Week Thirty-Three Lesson One, where your student recommended books to you, continue with this today. It would be lovely if you also shared / recommended one or two of your favourite books or stories (age appropriate) with your student, so that they see you as a βreaderβ just as much as they are. Give reasons for your recommendations, too.
Ask your student to choose one book that they recommend and complete the Book Review Activity Sheet.
Continue with poster activities, if appropriate, from last week.
