Use the Practice/Test on Spelling Frame link to review this week's words.

Main Activity

Explain that in today’s Lesson they will be writing out their diary entry. First of all ask your student to read through their plan for a diary entry from yesterday’s lesson.

Next, show them P15 of the Diary Writing Powerpoint that will remind them of all the features they will need to include. Once they are happy with what they need to do, allow them time to write their diary entry, using the differentiated Diary Writing Activity Sheet if they want to.

Keep reminding them to look at their planning sheet to remind them of what to write about – children often forget about this!
