Spelling
Look at the words below and do a pre-test. This means that you are checking how well your student can spell these words before you teach them. You do not need to focus on the words your student spelled correctly the first time.

Ask your student to write each word in a sentence to ensure they understand the meaning of each word.
Main Activity
Access Pinpoint Comprehension Unit 6. Ask your student to read and prepare the text as independently as possible today, as they will be answering the questions next week. This is good practice for their reading assignments, and will give a good indication of their progress between assignments.
