Today's Lesson

Handwriting and Spelling

Review spelling words to prepare for the test at the end of the week.

Main Activity

Using the rough draft you created in Lesson 3, ask your student to read through the leaflet and edit at least one sentence looking for spelling, capital letters & full stops, and synonyms (words that are similar, but more interesting). You may need to assist your student through this process. If you have typed your rough draft, please highlight any edits in red, so that they are clear to see.

Once finished, read your leaflet aloud to see if it sounds right. Did you leave out any words or put them in where they don’t belong? Again, encourage your student to look at the Sample Information Leaflets for guidance.

Assignment
