Main Activity
For the mental warm ups each day, ask your student to face North. Then tell them to take two steps East, four steps South, one step North and so on.
Repeat this until your student is comfortable with direction instructions using North, South, East and West. Use Follow The Directon (TopMarks)
Further to the previous lesson, turn to page 63 in Abacus 4 Textbook 3.
Ask your student to set the calculations out in the column method, regrouping where necessary. Watch 'Written Subtraction' to recap if needed.
Encourage your student to work independently to copy and complete the calculations on the page.
