Main Activity
As a mental warm up, ask your student to count back from random numbers in 10s until a ones number is reached.
For example:
256, 246, 236, 226 and so on, until your child gets to 6.
Further to the previous lesson on area, turn to page 54 in Abacus 4 Textbook 3.
Create another table with the new quadrilateral measurements.
Discuss the THINK part of the page, using the rule from Question 3 to work out the new area for the irregular shape.
