Main Activity

Turn to page 68 in Abacus 4 Textbook 1.

As with the previous lesson, ask your student to tell you the information represented by each bar graph. (Use Bar Charts (MyMaths) to recap if needed). Pay attention to the scales up the sides of each graph, as they are different in all three.

Watch the ‘Scales on bar graphs’ video to understand different bar graphs and how to interpret the scales.

Ask your student to answer the questions on page 68.
