Main Activity

Ask your student to recite two different times tables and to answer random questions on these, including division facts, e.g. How many 6s are in 48?

Turn to page 73 in Abacus 4 Textbook 1.

Remind your child:

There are 1000ml in 1l.

To convert from ml to l, divide by 1000.

To convert from l to ml, multiply by 1000.

Play Capacity Countdown (ICTGames)

Ask your student to attempt to calculate the word problems independently. Ask them to complete the second section orally.  

Please note, not every vessel contains an equivalent amount of liquid.
