Main Activity

As in the previous lesson, as a mental warm up for each lesson, call out a few random numbers to be divided or multiplied by 10 or 100.

For example:

30 x 10 =, 500 ÷ 100 =, 67 x 100 =

Following on from the previous lesson, ask your student to read the problems on page 61 in Abacus 4 Textbook 2. Once they have understood the calculations involved ask your student to attempt the problems independently. Remind them to answer with a sentence answer, as well as the calculation.
