Main Activity
Call out a few random two-digit numbers and ask your student βhow many more to 100?β Repeat this for about 20 numbers. It may take your student some time to remember how to complete this process, as it has not been practised for some time. Remind them to count on in ones to the next ten, to keep that number in their head and then to count on in tens until they reach 100. If they add the two numbers together, they will find the answer. Allow your student as much time as they need to work the answers out.

Use the videos 'Angles' and 'Parallel and Perpendicular'Β to recap type of angles, parallel lines and perpendicular lines if needed.
Remember - 'regular' shapes have all sides of equal length and all angels of equal size.
Discuss the clues on page 35 with your student and ask them to explain which shape each clue describes.

Scan or copy the page, so that your student can write directly on the paper. Look at the diagram with your student and ask them to describe the various properties to you. When it is clear that your student understands the concept, ask them to complete the whole page, working independently if possible.
