Main Activity

Ask your student to look around the room and find examples of right angles, obtuse angles and acute angles in the furniture or fittings.

Turn to page 69 in Abacus 4 Textbook 2.

Ask your student to copy and complete the calculations on the page. Remind them to include the unit of measure and a sentence answer to the problems and to check that they have the larger number at the top of their column subtraction, no matter what order the numbers appear in the problem sentences.
