Main Activity

Turn to page 70 in Abacus 4 Textbook 1.

Remind your student there are 1000ml in 1l. Remind them to convert from l to ml, they should multiply by 1000 and to convert from ml to l, they should divide by 1000.

Run through practising some conversions together if required. E.g. Convert 0.6l to ml. Convert 1300ml to l.

Ask your student to complete Q1 – 12.

Before attempting Q13 – 15, watch this video which will help you understand the real-life problems.

Remind your student to write a sentence answer to worded problems and to include the unit of measure with each answer.
