Main Activity

Look back at page 57 in Abacus 4 Textbook 1 and recap the fraction and decimal equivalences on the number line from yesterday's session.

Once your student is familiar with the concept**, turn to page 58.**

Watch this video which talks you through equivalent fractions and decimals using some examples on page 58.

Ask your student to try to complete the page, writing answers beside the questions. Allow your student to keep looking at the number lines on the previous page, to help form a visual aid in his/her mind, for the position of fractions and decimals.
