Today's Lesson
Introduction
Before you start the lesson, watch this Recap Video with your student.
Tell your student that this lesson’s activity is to help them use their subtraction skills of bridging 10 that they have been learning this step.
Ask them to tackle the task as much by themselves as they can. You will be there to help them if they really need it.
Main Activity
Ask your student to work through the 📄 Subtraction problems. Remind them to use their targeting 10 / bridging skills when needed!
Consolidate
EXPLORE - Hit the Button (TopMarks)
Ask your student to select ‘Number Bonds’. They should then select ‘Subtraction within 20’.
They should aim to beat their score as many times as they play each time!
Remind them to use their bridging 10 skills when needed!
Assignment
At the end of this lesson, please submit the completed Assignment 5 to your student's Wolsey Hall tutor. (This was completed during Step 15 Lesson 1.)
