What to Get Ready
Please note: All of the following tasks need to be recorded in one clip. Have all of your student's Sound Flashcards (Set 1 to Set 7 – Do not include Set 8) andthe 📄 Blending Words sheet ready before you start filming.
Phonics - Quick Fire!
Give your student all of the Flashcards for all of the sounds they have learned so far (Set 1 to Set 7 – Do not include Set 8). Film your student as they go through the cards saying the sounds of each grapheme.
Phonics - Blend to Read
Show your student the 📄 Blending Words sheet.
Continue to film your student as they read the words in the 'Blending' section.
Remember to frequently praise your student, noticing the effort they are using or how hard they are concentrating.
