Main Activity
Remind your child of the learning about electricity from last week’s lessons. At this point, you may wish to watch the following video to prepare for the focus of today’s lesson – electrical safety.
Using this information, explain that this week they are going to create a poster displaying safety rules about using electricity.
When they are planning their design and the information to be included, they should think about their target audience (their family) and where it is going to be displayed (your home). Encourage them to be creative and imaginative and not to just copy what is shown in the textbook.
It might be useful to carry out some additional research with your child to find some data about accidents in the home involving electricity in the country where you live. If appropriate, they can present this data in a table or bar
