Today's Lesson
Main Activity
Turn to page 60β61 in Cambridge Primary Science Book 4.
Read page 60 and discuss the activity on page 61 with your child.
Ensuring that safety precautions have been taken, conduct the experiment, whilst your child takes notes of their observations for each item.
Then ask your child to write up the experiment, reminding them to include a diagram. They should also draw a bar chart similar to the one below, to show the time each substance took to melt.
Finally, on lined paper, ask your child to answer the questions at the bottom of page 61.
