Main Activity

Work through the following activities over two lessons:

Use the activities and resources listed to find out about our changing environments and how this can impact living things.

Discuss issues of interest as you go, allowing your child to comment, offer opinions, and ask questions through the activity. Ask your child to make notes about key learning as they go.

Ask your child to present their learning in a creative way, e.g.

Create two posters: one factual and one which persuades people to change their habits in order to impact positively on our changing environment.
Plan, rehearse and film a news report / record a radio report.
Write a letter to local neighbours to explain how our climate is changing and what we, as a community, can do about it.
