Research the internal organs with your child.

WATCH - Digestive System (YouTube)

Read through each organ to research its function. Different nutrients are absorbed at different stages in the various organs. Ask your child to draw the digestive system and label the organs (or print one from the internet if that’s tricky). Write a small information block to accompany each organ, to describe its main function in the digestive system and what nutrients it absorbs, if any.
