For our last lesson of this topic, let's think about the distant future and what cities might be like for our descendants.
Whatever they are like, they will need to be sustainable!
Look at the PowerPoint Settlement of the Future with your student, then read through the assignment instructions.
Using their notes from last lesson, explain to your student that they should then complete the task to the best of their ability.
Challenge Activity
If your student is interested in this topic, encourage them to research what cities of the future might really be like. Encourage discussion with questions such as, ‘Will we have hover cars?’ ‘How will technology affect house design?’
