Main Activity

So far we have looked at earthquakes in general, but for the next two lessons we will be looking at a real-life earthquake that occurred in Nepal in 2015. Today we will be learning about what happened, and then during the next lesson your student will be completing an assessed piece of work - a news report on the disaster.

Your student's task today is to collect as much information on the earthquake as they can using the four resources provided (they may use all or just a couple of them depending on the time you have available). Make sure to start with the Nepal Earthquake PowerPoint.
