Paraphrasing and Plagiarism

OBJECTIVES:

To find out about paraphrasing and how it can help to overcome plagiarism.

RESOURCES:

Internet access | Plagiarism | 📊 Paraphrasing Presentation | Paraphrasing Presentation as PDF

Support.png Review

Talk to your child about what they have previously learned about plagiarism (PLAY-juh-rih-zem) from Lesson 1 and rewatch Plagiarism from lesson one if needed.

Remind your child that plagiarism is a form of cheating but, unless we’ve been taught about plagiarism, it is easy to make the mistake of copying from another source without realising we have done anything wrong.
