Welcome Call
Your student's tutor will send you a message via your Canvas inbox to invite you to book a Welcome C****all before (or in the early stages of) starting your course. Your student's tutor will be very happy to discuss any aspects of the course, how they can support you. If you would prefer to have an audio-only call, please let your student's tutor know. In order to book a call, your student's tutor will send you a link to their diary. (The call with your tutor should take place once you have had your call with your Student Progress Manager).
Messaging your tutor via the Canvas inbox
Your tutor is on hand to respond to any queries you might have about the course, lessons or assignments throughout the duration of the course. Please feel free to send them a message via the Canvas inbox, and they will respond to you as soon as possible.
Providing feedback on your student's assignments
A key aspect of the support from your student's tutor involves providing written feedback on your student's assignments. They will identify strengths and next steps in your student's learning. We strongly encourage you to work through this feedback when the assignment has been marked and returned to you, and to identify with your student any next steps that you will incorporate into their next few weeks of learning.

Follow up video calls
Following the returning of an assignment to you, your student's tutor will offer you the chance to book a video call with them. This is an opportunity to discuss your student's progress, their most recent assignment(s) and how best to implement future next steps to help maximise their progress. The focus of these video calls can include assignment review, discussion about general progress, and sometimes just to touch base with your tutor, e.g. to celebrate recent achievements.
